Let’s get this out of the way: The schedule has changed.

The Kickstarter for Threads of Light now launches on Tuesday, September 24.

Why the shift? Basically, it gives us more time to get the word out about this story! With printed proofs coming in next week, I’ll be writing posts and filming reels to bring as many followers as possible onto this project. The more people involved, the better our visibility.

“Is the book delayed in some way?” Not at all. I’m still waiting on some character artwork, but the book itself is ready.

Now, about those coded annotations…

Each limited edition will have a set of coded messages hidden in the text of the books! I always loved solving puzzles in books, like the messages hidden at the bottom of every page of the Artemis Fowl series. Now you can unravel secrets from the world of Vitalia. A key will be included in every book, but be warned: you’ll have to put in the work!

Marrow and Soul will have a set of letters exchanged between two of Safran’s allies, including spoilers for the second half of the book.

Threads of Light will have messages from the story's villains, including spoilers for the second half of the book AND teasers for Book Three!

It’s been a blast putting these together. I hope you enjoy decoding these messages as much as I loved crafting them. Follow the Kickstarter now!
